The Last of Us Season 2 TV Series Will Air in 2025

The Last of US Season 2 – It’s been over seven months since HBO’s The Last of Us TV series ended. People like it a lot, and they’re making a second season directed by Craig Mazin. The head of HBO, Casey Bloys, said they’ll start making season 2 of The Last of Us TV show in early 2024, and they hope to show it in early 2025.

Reporting from Deadline, Casey Bloys as the big boss of HBO confirmed that production on the second season of the TV series The Last of Us is planned to begin in early 2024. Furthermore, he is also targeting the premiere in early 2025.

In an interview with Deadline in May, HBO Head of Drama Francesca Orsi said that the expectation for The Last Of Us was to return some time in 2025.

 

“While everything at this moment is pencils down, I’m hopeful that we can come to terms sooner than later. Otherwise we will have to assess what is the end of the 24 schedule, what are the shows that are going to be delivered for 2025.”

 

They began working on the script for the first episode in July before the big strike (SAG-AFTRA). The director has talked a lot with Neil Druckmann, who made the game, about to keeping the TV series going.

 

 

For your information, the last episode of Season 1 is just like in the game’s story. So, Season 2 might also be like The Last of Us part 2 games, but the director might add some new stuff, like they did in season 1.
