After the release of Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remake that made a huge success, it seems that the position of the survival horror franchise has returned to dominate. One of them is Resident Evil, which successfully sold 98 million copies at the end of March. The target of 100 million copies was then achieved very quickly through the sale of Resident Evil 3 Remake which broke through two million copies last April.
With this, Resident Evil is finally one of the highest-selling game franchises of all time which of course will guarantee its future position. These results will certainly increase sharply with the presence of several new series that are still rumored, including Resident Evil 8 and Resident Evil 4 Remake.
