Resident Evil successfully sold more than 100 million copies

After the release of Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remake that made a huge success, it seems that the position of the survival horror franchise has returned to dominate. The steps to be taken by Capcom were indeed not easy and forced them to carry out a variety of new experiments. After successfully bringing Resident Evil for more than two decades in the gaming industry, Capcom has finally returned to sharing information about the new targets the franchise has achieved.

Quoted from VG24/7, towards the end of last March Capcom announced that some of their franchises had achieved new sales targets that were very high. One of them is Resident Evil, which successfully sold 98 million copies at the end of March. The target of 100 million copies was then achieved very quickly through the sale of Resident Evil 3 Remake which broke through two million copies last April.
With this, Resident Evil is finally one of the highest-selling game franchises of all time which of course will guarantee its future position. These results will certainly increase sharply with the presence of several new series that are still rumored, including Resident Evil 8 and Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Then what do you think about this new achievement? Hopefully Capcom can be more motivated to continue to support the Resident Evil franchise and produce new and increasingly perfect series.
